Kia has expanded its all-electric PV5 range with the introduction of a new seven-seat Passenger model, alongside a new flagship Elite trim and a series of updates for the 2027 model year.
Designed for families, taxi operators and shuttle services, the new PV5 Passenger 7-seat features a flexible 2-2-3 seating layout, sliding rear doors and a low 399mm step-in height. Boot space stands at 318 litres with all seats in use, increasing to 785 litres with the third row folded.
Built on Kia’s dedicated E-GMP.S platform, the PV5 offers a flat floor, generous passenger space and a tight 5.5-metre turning circle aimed at improving manoeuvrability in urban environments.
The seven-seat model is available exclusively with Kia’s 71.2kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of more than 390km (242 miles). Rapid charging at up to 150kW enables a 10-80% recharge in less than 30 minutes.
Prices for the new PV5 Passenger 7-seat start from £36,995 for the Essential model, rising to £40,275 for the Plus and £41,975 for the new range-topping Elite trim.
The existing five-seat PV5 Passenger line-up now starts from £33,195, or £31,695 after the Government’s £1,500 Electric Car Grant. Depending on specification, the five-seat version offers up to 256 miles of WLTP range.
The new Elite trim joins the existing Essential and Plus grades, while model year 2027 updates include a height-adjustable driver's armrest, Walk Away Lock technology and a revised antenna design that helps keep the vehicle under 1.9 metres tall for easier access to height-restricted car parks.
